The Mercury (quicksilver) brand fluid is a great option. It is the same fluid as the SeaStar fluid at a much lower cost. It works perfectly in all temperatures for hydraulic boat steering and meets all of the specs for SeaStar/Baystar telematics hydraulic steering. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste the money on the SeaStar brand. Quicksilver is a quality brand with decades of experience.
