This impact driver is in the higher end for ACDelco and is a lot nicer than the lower level tools they make. It’s somewhat compact and has good power for its size. It seems to have the same high quality feel as other higher end brands like Milwaukee and Makita, except for the battery and charger which don’t seem as nice.Overall power is very good and this tool has had more than enough power where other tools I’ve used have struggled. The included battery pack is just 2Ah but larger ones are available. Size is good, and it feels pretty good in the hand. The battery has a charge level gauge on it and the tool has a 3 position torque control and the lower torque settings also spin slower at max throttle. The trigger feels good and the speed seems to jump up in several increments, it doesn’t seem infinitely adjustable but still has good control overall. With a claimed torque rating of 162 ft-lbs, you could technically use this to remove lug nuts from most passenger vehicles, although I haven’t tried that. It doesn’t struggle at all with driving screws and tightening fasteners, and the brushless motor can go for hours without overheating under normal use. This set also comes with a dock for the battery and it works the same as other higher end brands. The charger isn’t super fast but the included battery is small so it charges fairly quickly. The battery and dock also work with other ACDelco P20 tools. Overall, a nice impact driver if you are already invested in the ACDelco line and this tool definitely seems a lot more powerful and durable than the lower end products they make. Time will tell how reliable it is after years of use, so far it’s been working well for me and I use it whenever I need a powerful impact driver.
