The media could not be loaded.I am on the PTO at my son’s school, and we were looking for a contest prize for one of the grades. Someone suggested a Spin Art party, and that sounded like fun. But I’d never done that before, so I set out to learn as much as I could about Spin Art.I got these flying discs because someone’s child had painted one at a Spin Art party before. Since they’re fabric, I was a little skeptical about how they would react with paint. But they were amazing. The one bad thing is that these discs were too big for the Spin Art machine that I got. I fiddled with them and tried to fold them and make them work. Nothing I tried was working. Then I put one little glue dot right in the center of the spinning tray, and it worked! The disc started spinning! And the paint splattered just like it’s supposed to, and the kids had a blast!I took a video of my test run. I only used one color. The kids used multiple colors on all of theirs, and they turned out beautifully. They did take a while to dry, but it was worth it.None of my discs were ripped. And they all folded up into their little pouches just fine. It took a little effort, but once we got the hang of it, it went great.After this party I participated in another Spin Art party at the school with a professional Spin Art machine and plastic frisbees. That was really fun too, but I honestly think that I prefer the fabric discs with the little machine. The plastic frisbees will last longer, but I feel like the paint will come off of the plastic frisbees way more easily. And of course plastic discs fly differently than fabric discs, and these are better for school. It takes a lot of effort to hurt someone with these, whereas you can chuck a plastic frisbee at a child and hurt them pretty easily.Overall, these were exactly as advertised and exactly what I needed.
