Can I be honest with you? I wanted to dislike this pump. I have an expensive alloy pump from another brand, a real premium boutique pump. It’s like a fashion statement. It’s kind of a big deal. So, I came in expecting this pump to really be below what I was used to and what I found was… it’s fine. Some really good things, and some things that could be better, but overall this pump serves its purpose and I’ve been using it before every ride for a few weeks now.For the price point, there are a few things you need to be ready to accept. The chuck is the first thing. It’s not great. Does it work? Yes, but the lock feels somewhat flimsy and a little hard to operate. The dual head is fine and seats on both presta and Schrader just as you’d expect. I give the chuck like a 4/10, not the absolute worst I’ve ever used but an area where this pump could really excel. Also, give me about a foot more air line.The one sided foot is also a little weird. It makes holding the pump on the floor a bit weird.So, all that bad stuff out of the way, what about the good?The digital read out is great. Very clear. Easy to read, and I checked the accuracy against my Topeak digital gauge, and it’s dead on. Used with both high and low volume tires, the pump fills them quickly.It’s kind of a medium size for a pump, which makes it perfect for traveling with. It’s also lightweight so it’s easy to throw in a large gear back and not feel like you’re lugging it around.All in all, this is a solid addition to my kit. It’s nice the have a digital gauge on pump that rears in tenths for accurately setting pressure for those marginal gains! [...]
